Why are English planning and environmental authorities so obsessed with protecting grassland? Even from forestation. What is it with these people. Don’t they realise that forest beats grassland almost any day? Grassland is dull. Grassland gets over run by humans and their dogs. Grassland is only the next best thing for water quality and flood protection after concrete.
Give me forests I tell you, forests Gandalf!
