OK, now I'm done with posting silly comments and garbled nonsense all ovber the web about this pig flu junket, it's time to move on to a new subject.
The Guardian's recent article on Stephen Fry's letter to his 16 year old self has quickly made the rounds in emails and link posts. Some of the best reaction has been from commenters on the guardian who have written their own letters to their 16 year old self. I thought I'd post some of the best ones, followed by a ltter of my own tot he 16 year old me (the me of 1996).
So to start, here's some of the goodies:
Dear Me at 16
1) Read some books that arent football related
2)Grow Your hair -it will make you look older
3) Dont drink from the wine bottle that is handed to you at the beach party - its piss

Dear Me at 16,
YOU ARE NOT FAT, forgoodnessakes wait 15 years, then you'll have something to complain about!
Yes, you really do love him.
Don't sing with throat infections, yes you'll pass your exams with flying colours, but you won't be able to sing the way you want to when you're 30.
"God places the lonely in families" it's a bible verse you'll love when you're older that will put this time in your life into perspective for you. Trust me, that man your Mum is going to marry will change your life infinately for the better. Stop stressing.
The "cool kids" will want YOUR job when you grow up!
classic Kylie!
perhaps i should be more honest here.
Dear me at 16,
Stop being such a complete and total BITCH to your mother's boyfriend, he's the best man you will ever meet in your life, and his family will become your EVERYTHING in years to come.
